New Student Label Template

I don't know about you, but I have so many labels in my classroom to help keep things organized.  In addition to labeling materials and stations, I also have my students' names posted on something at every station (whether it be a desk, binder, folder, drawer, plastic bin, etc.).  And of course, being a bit OCD, I want all of my labels (size and font) to match one another.  There is nothing worse than having one label that looks completely different than the rest!  So, last week when I got a new student, I was so happy I had kept a template of all my labels on my computer.  It was so easy to just type in her name, print, laminate, cut-out, and post her name all around my room.  The harder part is now creating materials for her IEP goals at each station :-).  That, I hope to get done this week!

    This is a great idea! What size labels do you print this on? Can you inbox me your template? What does your "IEP goals" per station look like? Katie told me about your blog! Awesome information that you provide!

  3. I don't actually print onto labels (although that is a great idea too...I need to figure out how to do that!!). I print the names on paper, laminate them, cut them out, and tape them (with clear tape) onto drawers, bins, etc. at each station around my classroom. That's why the labels are different sizes (because it depends what type of storage bin I use at each station).

    It shows an IEP goal minute spreadsheet. Along the top are all of my stations. Along the left side, I list the child's IEP goals (I make one of these for each student). Then I mark with an X at which station the child's goals are being addressed (and then I make sure I have materials for that goal at all of the marked stations). Does that make sense??? (Sorry to write so much!)
